1: Guild history and aim
Let us briefly introduce ourselves. Teddybears of Doom is an international casual raid guild, so representatives of all nations are welcome. We as a guild have found that the most important characteristic which has allowed Teddybears of Doom to continue as a successful raiding guild for so long (since its creation in 2006) is the sense of humour. The name of our group is the best proof of it.
Our want as a guild to get to know each member better, socialise and make friends, build our family.
Our dedication to the game and all it entails has stood us strong throughout our Groups lifetime.
The world of "World of Warcraft" game is full of various illusions and references to other branches of entertainment, so the name of our group is also treated with a pinch of salt.
What do we enjoy most? Firstly, Playing together, making fun (mainly of ourselves), rallying but also unselfishly supporting one another, in other words deriving the essence of the game. Learning together and sharing the experiences of new content as a strong team and building our knowledge as we go forward.
What do we detest? Mainly due to fact that most of us are adults we are accustomed to certain behaviour standards. We don't tolerate boorishness of any kind, swearing beyond established norms, disobeying "World of Warcraft's" behaviour patterns (whining, leeroying, ninja looting, yelling needlessly etc.). If you are reading this text and thinking you're similar to us, we'd like to encourage you to join us.
Teddybears of Doom raid group came into being in order to raid high-level instances. The guild's scope of operation encompasses the 25man raiding route, including outdoor bosses being our goals as well. The planning of the guild is evolving with new instances which are being established will make the game even more interesting. Teddybears of Doom don't take up official raiding instances such as 10 man progression ladders because we think that every member of our group should gain experience and farm the gear in easier instances on their own, or with casual ToD members on OoS nights. How ever due to inactivity we are currently building our team so we will be raiding 10man with the aim to build and start 25man raiding again.
2: Guild organisation
Teddybears of Doom is led by people who make all decisions regarding recruitment of new members, raids schedules, DKP system management, Raid Leaders nominations and of course potential fines. At the time being management consist of the following people:
Officers
: Rohnda, Ertas, Ehlonna, Pathstrider and Narvinyë
Officer alts
: Alternate characters of officers
Teddy Raiders
: The members of the Teddybears of Doom Raid group.
Teddies
: The casual members of Teddybears of Doom.
Alts
: Alternate characters of members.
Wannabe Teddies
: New members of Teddybears of Doom go through a 1 month trial period before being promoted to full member.
3: Requirements
You can join Teddybears of Doom as either a raider or a casual member.
3.1: Raider
The opportunity of battling in new raid instances, seems to be very tempting for most of you but not every person can become a member of Teddybears of Doom Raidgroup.
To avoid some misunderstandings in the future, we have created a list of criterias which have to be met by candidates to the Raidgroup as well as Raid-group members. Playing the most difficult instances of World of Warcraft game requires first of all patience and team-work because the progress is very slow there and at the beginning the expenses exceed profits.
If you would like to to raid with us and you are counting on quick profit or you would only like to join us on some occassions just ease up in advance, this guild is not for you. Below you'll find a complete list of conditions to be met in order to join Teddybears of Doom Raidgroup and ,most importantly, to stay in the guild.
Participation in at least 57% of 25ppl official instance raids (8 of 14 raids on a rolling period of 28 days)
Participation in raids only with Teddybears of Doom.
Due to the fact that the game saves raid participants' ID, we don't let our members participate in raids of other groups or raids. Of course this rule concerns only instances where Raid ID is saved and that is currently on our raiding schedule.
(See our raiding rules for a list of which instance you are allowed to raid outside Teddybears of Doom.)
100% punctuality
100% efficient gear
100% Preparation (relevant pots/elixirs/food, bandages, arrows and bullets, repair bot (if you have one), taccies
Knowledge of playing in your class.
Usage of addons needed for raiding with ToD.
(See our raiding rules for a list of required addons in Teddybears of Doom.)
Daily Teddybears of Doom forum reading.
This will supply all the information about planned raids, line-up, DKP points etc.
Proper behavior during raids
This wide area encompasses the following issues: obeying and executing Raid Leaders' commands, discussing only raid matters, following proper standards of behaviour etc.
Readiness to participate in raid
If you know you won't be able to finish a raid, don't sign up as available on it or inform about it at forum in advance.
Voice communicator, Teamspeak installed
This point concerns all raid participants as for listening, microphone is a must only for people who manage the raid.
Patience, patience and once more patience, without it there is no sense to apply to our group, Progress requires wiping. Get used to it without complaint

3.2: Casual
If you would like to join Teddybears of Doom as a casual member, you have to have a friend or relative in the guild already, that can recommend you.
4: Summary
We appreciate you have read the detailed post and we hope that the most of the presented info is clear. We understand that some of preliminary conditions given by the group may be found difficult to fulfil, however establishing the guild rules is essential for the guild existence. When raiding we constitute an army like group where there is no time for arguments, unnecessary discussions and wasting time.
All the suggestions and questions should be directed to proper sections of our forum.
Best regards
